| Family: Lewis Guthrie is the second youngest of the somewhat infamous Guthrie family (though only because his twin sister, Lucy, was born first). As far as he's concerned, he has too many sisters (six) and not enough brothers (three). Lewis is eleven, and largely thanks to his mother, has been able to remain a relatively normal child. He's the quieter of the twins, but still has no problem speaking up about what he thinks and can be a bit of a know-it-all. He's the sort of kid who... well... don't give him an erector set. You won't see him for weeks. He likes to play but he'll do his homework first, and almost without being told to. Fairly recently, a large percentage of the Guthrie family has relocated to Xavier's. There, Lewis' powers were discovered, which made him happy since he got to stay with his twin. He spends his days reading, tinkering with 'found objects,' and being pulled into mischief by Lucy. |
| Powers: Lewis is a mutant, an intuitive thinker whose mind automatically knows how things work, a gift which applies to both objects and other peoples' bodies/powers. Right now that's manifesting in an uncanny talent with things mechanical, especially with simply knowing what part of something needs to be tinkered with to fix the whole. In simple objects and things he's familiar with (such as farm equipment) this means that he knows how to solve the problem almost as soon as he sets eyes on it. In order to reach the same level of understanding with more complex things - especially people - he'll need to both train with his powers and, more importantly, study so he can learn what 'feel' goes with what power/symptom/etc and what to do about it. At present he can sort of 'feel' a vague sense of the differences, and that's about it. He's not an intuitive inventor. It has to already exist and be sitting in front of him for Lewis to understand it. He can make a motor work to its peak proficiency, but he cannot upgrade it without outside instruction, and he can't tell you how he did it. |

| The PB is Zack Shada. Lewis Guthrie is a canon-OC hybrid from the Marvel universe, in that he has been (very rarely) seen in the comics, but never heard. A large part of his development happened in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} marvel_mansion, but this journal is no longer associated with that game. I do not pretend to own any part of the Guthrie family, the X-men, or Marvel comics. |
